Ozanam has fundraising events throughout the year ranging from our annual plant sale to the Hollywood Holiday Gala. These events help us raise funds for specific projects or give us the ability to offer scholarships to those children who would otherwise be unable to attend Ozanam. Each event is only successful because of the support we receive from our Board of Directors, volunteers and the caring members of the community.

    "You can't change the past," admitted Francis, 17, "But you can change the future."

    That is exactly what he did when he arrived at Ozanam in October 2005 after failing in school, getting arrested at the age of 16, spending time in a juvenile detention center and later a Lawrence group home all within the course of a year.
