For those adolescent males who have demonstrated problems related to sexual abuse, Ozanam offers the COURAGE Program as another therapeutic option. Counseling staff work with children to help them confront destructive behaviors, learn healthy responses and gain self-control. The COURAGE program is a 4-phase treatment program, emphasizing repairing the damage that has been caused through abuse and developing strategies to reduce the risk of sexually reactive behavior, through implementing healthy coping, empathy and relationship skills.
